Powerful Medeama defender Paul Aidoo denies Aduana Stars contact

Medeama defender Paul Aidoo has had no contact whatsoever with Aduana Stars' representatives,  the player has insisted.

Aidoo's future has come under fresh speculation after he was reported to have attended a meeting with Aduana chiefs over a possible switch.

Aduana Chief Executive Albert Commey claimed on Monday that the centre-back traveled to Dorma to hold talks with the club over a potential move.

The claim has ruffled feathers in Tarkwa as the towering defender still has a running contract with the Mauve and Yellows.

But the former Ghana Under-17 defender has denied the claims as false.

"It has come as a massive surprise to me. I have not traveled to Dorma and so don't know what they (Aduana) are talking about," he told GHANAsoccernet.com

"I still have a contract with Medeama and it's important that is respected. I have not held any talks with them.

"Of course, players will always receive offers from clubs. It's only natural. But such lies are not proper and does not augur well for anybody."

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a fabolous run of form since he joined the Tarkwa-based side two seasons ago.
