PREMIER LEAGUE: Arsenal is reunited with victory

Published on: 08 February 2016

Following a dry spell of four consecutive games without tasting victory, Arsenal returned to winning ways in a 2-0 Premiership triumph against hosts Bournemouth.

The win sees the Gunners leapfrog Manchester City into third spot in the league table, tying on points with second-placed Tottenham and moving to within five points of Leicester.

First-half goals for Arsenal were delivered courtesy of Mesut Özil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23 and 24 minutes into the game. All in all Arsène Wenger's men put on an effective, if lacklustre, display on the South Coast.
