Premier League Board chairman Welbeck Abra-Appiah has backed the three promoted sides to retain their Premiership status at the end of the season.

The 2013/2014 campaign will see debutants Inter Allies and returnees Sekondi Hasaacas and Bechem United compete.

Last term, two promoted Division One League Clubs-Amidaus and King Faisal stayed at the end of the season with only Real Tamale United being demoted.

"Experience is what counts. We you come from the Division One then you should know that you have to double up your efforts," Abra-Appiah told Accra-based Asempa FM.

"Of the three promoted clubs last season, two survived and only one got demoted.

"Any club which get promoted must come prepared with a solid team and do not misbehave at their league centre you can survive."

The Ghana Premier League will start on 15 September, 2013.
