PREMIER LEAGUE / United indebted to De Gea heroics

Published on: 09 February 2016

Manchester United and Chelsea served up a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in a game in which David de Gea came to the visitors' rescue on countless occasions.

Jesse Lingard gave the Red Devils the lead, but a last-gasp Diego Costa strike levelled things, before which United's Spanish international goalkeeper had made three excellent saves to keep his side in front.

The draw leaves United on 41 points, six short of local rivals Manchester City, who currently occupy the fourth and last Champions League berth.
