Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Kudjoe Fianoo says Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will be given the power to submit their preferred match officials for Sunday's President's Cup game.
This disclosure was made when the organizing body of the game launched the 2017 edition in an interaction session with the press on Monday evening in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
According to Fianoo, Kotoko and Hearts will give the name of match officials to the organizers before they will forward it to the FA’s Referees appointment committee to decide.
His Excellency Akuffo Addo together with other high-profile government officials will be at stadium .
This year competition will be the first in honour of the sitting president.
