Coach Mohammed Polo admits Hearts of Oak is in crisis but will not be cowed into resigning following their humiliating 3-0 defeat to Wa All Stars on Wednesday.

The Phobians suffered a second straight thrashing at the hands of All Stars on the resumption of the Ghanaian top flight.

Hearts hit a new low as they failed to perform before their home fans in Accra.

The agitated fans chanted for the immediate sacking of coach Polo after witnessing the shambolic performance of their team.

But the ex Ghana star has attributed the sorry state of affairs of the team to lack of unity within the club as he insists he will not be pressured into quitting.

"What happened today was all down to a lack of unity in the team. The entire structure of the club has no togetherness and that has cost us today,” Polo said.

“There was a lot of disagreement as of the time I took up the coaching job but someone had to take the job.

“There is a crisis in the team now but unfortunately, I am the one who must take the pressure. Is it a crime to have taken this job?"

Hearts have now dropped to fourth in the Ghanaian top flight as their frail titles hopes keeps waning.
