The future of AshantiGold head coach David Duncan is being speculated after a recent dire run of form.

Management will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday to decide on retaining or parting ways with the Ghana Under-23 coach.

The Miners will need to cough a huge sum of money as a compensation package for the coach if they decide to mutually terminate his contract.

Duncan's side were beaten 1-0 by champions Aduana Stars on Sunday to consign them to the 12th place on the league table and are now winless in two matches.

Some management members want Duncan to be sacked to halt their downward spiral.

"Coach Duncan has done a lot for us but I think the time for him to leave is now because he’s lost touch with the physique of the team and it better he leaves and concentrate on the Black Meteors job," Management member Oti Akenteng said.

"We did not create a single chance in our game against Aduana Stars. Their goalkeeper was on a virtual holiday during the entire duration of the game and that's very worrying. We played against BA Stars at a neutral ground and we could not win the game.

"He must go to save the team from such embarrassing situation. He has failed totally this season and we need a new man for the team."
