Preview: GHALCA Glo G8 Cup Day III

Published on: 13 September 2011

Berekum Chelsea will be looking to seal their place in the last four of the inaugural GHALCA Glo G8 Cup with their second win in the competition against Heart of Lions.

The reigning Premier League champions go into Wednesday's game at the Sunyani Coronation Park  as overwhelming favourites following their hard-fought opening day win over New Edubiase.

Lions will however be a tough nut to crack as they go in search of their first win after being downed 1-0 by Aduana Stars on matchday one.

The Kpando lads had the upper hand over Chelsea in the regular Premier League season where a 2-0 home win coupled with a 0-0 away draw ensured they took the bragging rights.

The day's other fixture sees 2009/2010 Premier League champions Aduana Stars pit their wits against New Edubaise who are themselves desperate for a win to keep their dreams in the tourney alive.
