Medeama SC will need a win against the Ghana Premier League leaders ahead of next week’s CAF Confederation Cup playoff clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Mauve and Yellows have been far from impressive in the domestic league and needed a late Bernard Ofori goal to edge Inter Allies in an outstanding league match.

Swedish tactician Tom Strand was not on the bench for that match but he is likely to return to the bench.

Wa All Stars duo Issahaku Konda and Mohammed Awudu Armando missed their last league match against Inter Allies FC and are likely to be absentees again on Sunday against Medeama SC.

Joseph Adjei has still not recovered from his knee injury.

Central defender Francis Nicholas Mensah is back after serving a match suspension.

A lose for Wa All Stars could see them off top spot after this weekend's fixtures.
