Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier has revealed he is ‘surprised’ by David Luiz’s last minute move to Chelsea in a £30m move on the Deadline Day.
“Everybody was surprised, I think – the Belgium international told Sky Sports - Nobody expected such a scenario; I didn’t expect that simply”.
“He probably wanted to try again at Chelsea, you know how attractive it is to play in England. Anyway, I wish him all the best.”
The 24-year-old joined the French giants this summer from Club Bruges.
