PSV agree to loan Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen to Anderlecht for another season

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven have agreed to loan Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen to Belgium side Anderlecht for the 2020/21 season.

The 25-year old returns to the Jupiler Pro League after a successful campaign with the Purple and Whites last season.

Luckassen made 18 appearances for the Purple and White before the Jupiler Pro league was cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Anderlecht had initially wanted to make the move a permanent one, but the club could not meet PSV's asking price for the stalwart defender.

The two side eventually agreed on another loan stint, but with the former Belgium side paying his full salary.

The Dutch born Ghanaian joined PSV from AZ Alkmaar in 2017 but has served most of his time on loan, including a spell with German side Hertha Berlin.
