PSV midfielder Van Ginkel: Chelsea learning from past expensive loan mistakes

Published on: 27 February 2017

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Marco van Ginkel says he still has hopes of making it at Chelsea.

The Dutchman is on-loan at PSV to the end of this season.

"I still have the ambition to play again at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea also has learned from the past. They had let go Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, David Luiz and Nemanja Matic ," he told Volkskrant.

"Expensive mistakes. The value seems a bit shifted. Victor Moses was often loaned out and is now a senior player."

Van Ginkel also reveals there's an app group for all the loanees of the Blues. In it the players are given data about their performances.

"You can see how everyone does. That can be an incentive."
