Pulisic and Dortmund primed for Borussia battle Will in-form Christian Pulisic inspire Dortmund to extend their unbeaten start against Gladbach? vor 2 Stunden

Table-topping Borussia Dortmund’s unblemished defensive record will be sorely tested by a Borussia Mönchengladbach side that has shone on its travels recently when the pair face off in Saturday’s late kick-off (18:30CEST/16:30GMT).

Form

It has been a record-breaking week for Dortmund, who extended their unbeaten start to the season on Matchday 5 with victory over Hamburg. Peter Bosz is now the first coach in Bundesliga history to record five clean sheets in his first five games. American teenage star Christian Pulisic celebrated with a late birthday present on Wednesday, bagging the third and final goal of the night, his strike Dortmund's 3,000th in the Bundesliga.

Mönchengladbach also come into the battle of the Borussias in good shape, having seen off Stuttgart at Borussia-Park on Tuesday. Raffael bagged a brace, his first goals of the season, and is almost certain to remain as Lars Stindl's strike partner. The main question mark for Hecking's side is the fitness of goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who missed the win on Tuesday. His replacement, Tobias Sippel, is yet to concede a goal after four matches in the Bundesliga, and will start should the Swiss international fail his fitness tests.
