Ghanaian-born Qatari international forward Mohammed Muntari got on the score-sheet for Lekhwiya SC when they consigned Al-Sadd to a 4-0 defeat in the Qatari Premier League on Friday.
The 21-year-old levelled the scoring for Lekhwiya with a trademark 42nd minute strike at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.
Muntari, a former player Glo Lamp Soccer Academy graduate, arrived at Lekhwiya before the start of the season in a massive cash deal and has been hugely influential for the club.
He has committed his international future to Qatar and scored for the Asian side during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers last week.
He was replaced in the 79th minute by experienced Ghanaian defender Razaq Mohammed.
