Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has pledged to donate $2000 to aid the surgery of crocked  Kotoko striker Larbi Kooomson, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Koomson has been ruled out for at least eight months after suffering a horrible knee injury during training last month.

The former Medeama ace require $7,500 to repair the damage but the Russian-based midfielder has come to the aid of the attacker by pledging to support him to ease the financial burden.

Mohammed will make the cash donation after the Black Stars final 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo in Tamale on Wednesday.

The former Liberty Professional combative enforcer is believed to be a huge admirer of the biggest Ghanaian club.
