Rahim Ayew returns for Lierse after serving three-match ban

Ghana midfielder Rahim Ayew is available for selection for Belgian side SK Lierse after serving a three-match suspension.

He was punished last month by the disputes committee of the Royal Belgian Football Association.

Ayew received received a straight red card for a tackle on Lokeren striker Nill De Paw in the 67th minute on February 2.

The former Zamalek player was also fined 500 Euros.

Lierse coach Hany Ramzy will be keen to use the versatile player on March 9 against Kortrijk when the Belgian Pro League resumes.

Ayew missed the league games against Charleroi (9 February), KV Mechelen (16 February) and Beerschot (23 February).
