Ghana youth defender Baba Abdul Rahman has played his first match for German top-flight Greuther Furth.

The left-back replaced Heinrich Schmidtgal after 77 minutes in last Saturday's 2-1 pre-season friendly win against Turkish side Sivasspor.

The 18-year-old moved to the promoted Bundesliga outfit in this summer from Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko.

Compatriot Gerald Asamoah played for 46 minutes before he was replaced by Nigerian Kingsley Onuegbu.

Rahman is one of three Under-20s at Greuther Furth-who were crowned Bundesliga II champions last season.
