Raiola: This is who left legacy to Man Utd star Zlatan…

Mino Raiola has revealed the player in his stable who left his legacy on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Super agent Raiola has worked with some massive names over the years but none bigger than Manchester United's new favourite son Ibrahimovic.

At the age of 35, Zlatan now acts as somewhat of a father figure to his fellow Raiola players but it has not always been this way and he had to learn the ropes from someone else - who has been identified as Juventus legend Pavel Nedved.

Asked why Ibrahimovic is a positive role model to such players as Red Devils teammates Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sergio Romero, Raiola told talkSPORT: “Because he leads by example.

“He had an example in my life already, and that was Nedved.

“And when I talked about Nedved to him, he was always in unbelief of what this man could do in his professional career as a player.

“When he had the luck and the honour to have them playing together he saw it with his own eyes.

“Then when Nedved stopped, Zlatan became my reference.

“Some agents have a champion by mistake or by chance, I've had a lot, and I made it clear that they have to give their legacy to the next generation.

“That's the most beautiful thing I can do for them is to give them the legacy and to say listen, 'this is what Ibra does'.

“For example for Paul, for Micki, and for Sergio, seeing with their own eyes what he does and how he does it.

“It's certainly something that enriches them."
