Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has extended his best wishes to Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan as he celebrates his 30th birthday today.
In a message on his Instagram page, the Black Stars defender wrote: "Happy birthday captain fantastic. May God bless you and your family, leader and legend."
The Shanghai SIPG striker will be seizing the opportunity of celebrating his birthday to reward the women's senior national team the Black Queens for winning gold at the 2015 All African Games in Congo Brazzaville.
Rashid Sumaila who was a member of the Black Stars team that represented the nation at the 2014 World Cup is yet to earn his first call up under coach Avram Grant but insist Gyan is a great leader.
The former Asante Kotoko defender has been overwhelmingly splendid for Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia and has been linked to a move outside Kuwait at the end of the season.
