Rashid Sumaila has praised Kotoko supporters

Defender Rashid Sumaila has praised Kotoko supporters for their ‘fantastic’ support to club.

The fans of the biggest club in Ghana have been hugely praised for their massive financial  support to the success of the club over years.

Their massive achievements chalked over the years has also been largely attributed to the die-in-the wool attitude of their teeming supporters.

Sumaila, who is on a season-long loan from Ebusua Dwarfs, is thrilled with kind of support that he has enjoyed since he cross carpet to join the Porcupine Warriors.

“Though I play in the National Teams and other clubs in the country, the feeling one gets playing at Kotoko is special. The fans follow the team around and above all give you good support”. Sumaila told Kotoko Express

“Their support gives the players a good reason to go all out for the club. And this we are committed to achieving and doing”.

Kotoko will play New Edubiase in the Super Cup on Sunday ahead of the start of the Premier League on October 7.
