Rashid Sumaila is on the verge of sealing a lucrative move to  Moroccan Champions Moghreb Tetouan, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 19-year-old promising Ebusua Dwarfs centre back emerged as a huge target for local giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak with the Ghanaian Champions believed to have stolen the march on his signature.

But GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal that the Black Stars defender has arrived in the North African country on the invitation of the Moroccan top flight side for further assessments before making a final decision on his future.

Sumaila will play in Tetouan’s pre-season friendly with Spanish giants Real Madrid on July 24 at the 24 new Grand Stadium of Tangiers.

It will give him a real opportunity to play on the same pitch against  Cristano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Kaka, Sergia Ramos, Mesut Ozil and Pepe amongst others who have all been included in the set-up for the Spanish champions.

The impressive work-rate of the 19-year-old has seen him earn two call-ups into the Black Stars.

Sumaila came to prominence at the start of last season following his excellent performances for Ghana’s Under-23 side who won gold at the All Africa Games last  year.
