General News of Tuesday, 15 May 2012Source: citifmonline.com The former first family, the Rawlingses, have joined hundreds of sympathisers of the 31st December revolution to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the formation of the womenââ¬â¢s group that was named after the revolt - 31st December Womenââ¬â¢s Movement.
The movement which is led by Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is celebrating this yearââ¬â¢s anniversary under the theme ââ¬ÅOur Walk into Women Empowermentâ⬠and former President Rawlings and his wife are both expected to address their supporters who have gathered at the Alisa Hotel.
Many are expecting either of the two - Nana Konadu or Rawlings - or both to talk about the issue which has dominated media discussions in recent times â⬓ who owns the NDC logo (the umbrella).
In attendance are some big shots of the previous NDC I administration including Mrs. Mary Grant amongst others.**
