Razak Brimah

Razak Brimah lost his starting position in the Cordoba set-up who opened their campaign in the Segunda Division with a 1-0 win over Tenerife on Saturday.

Coach Jose Luis Oltra preferred Polish Pawel Kieszek between the sticks for their opener.

Kieszek,32, was signed this summer as a backup for the Ghana No.1 goalkeeper if he leaves for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations next January.

But the former FC Porto and Roda JC player has emerged the first choice gloves man for the second-tier side.

Brimah was first choice during pre season and even captained the side in a triangular tournament.

This development will be worrying for the former Nania FC player who has been linked with a host of clubs this summer.
