CD Mirandes goalkeeper Razak Brimah is delighted with his return to the Black Stars hopeful of toppling Fatau Dauda for the number spot.

Brimah, 27, is staging comeback to the team following his disastrous outing against Japan in an international friendly last year.

But he has found his way back into the team after being named in the country’s 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Uganda and Togo next month.

The former Nania FC shot-stopper has also profited from Adam Kwarasey’s omission from the squad and he has expressed his joy over his return.

“I am very happy to be back. The past remains my past and I know very well that football is like that,” he told Goal Ghana

“The most important thing is what I have to offer now.

“My aim is to work hard at club level so that I can make an impact in the Black Stars because there is a high level of competition in the Ghana team.”

The Black Stars will take on the Cranes on September 5 before they travel to Togo to play the Hawks six days later in group E.
