Ghana probably played Africa's greatest game at the World Cup on Saturday night when surprised world favourites Germany with an attacking and tactically aware display resulting in a 2-2 draw in Fortaleza.

With the match looming, coach Kwesi Appiah surprised many when he made three changes to his starting line-up with Kevin Prince Boateng taking the place of Jordan Ayew, Harrison Afful named in place of injured Daniel Opare while Fatau Dauda took the place of Adam Kwarasey. Many were surprised by the decision to drop Kwarasey to the bench while some disagreed with the decision to play Afful.
