Real coach Zinedine Zidane was delighted with two-goal Karim Benzema after their rout of Eibar.
Benzema silenced his critics with a brace as a Real Madrid side lacking several of their leading stars cruised to a 4-1 victory over Eibar at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium.
Zidane said: "I'm happy with his performance, his two goals and more importantly his involvement in all four goals. I'm happy for him and everyone's performance really. We did very well. Now we have to rest and start preparing for Tuesday's game."
On Marco Asensio, he added: "I'm happy with his performance. It's not easy when you're not playing often. He played as if he's been involved every three days. I'm happy with his goal and his performance. He's happy, too."
