Real Madrid are sending a senior scout to the Camp Nou on Sunday to watch Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, according to a top Spanish agent with close links to the Bernabeu.

Arsenal’s chief scout Steve Rowley is also expected to attend the Barcelona-Elche game to assess the long-term prospects of the highly-rated Juventus owned player.

''Boakye-Yiadom has a massive future," said the A-League agent told GHANASoccernet.com on condition of remaining anonymous.

''He made notice after scoring against Real Madrid.  I was informed by somebody high up in the club [Real Madrid] that a senior scout has been designated to watch him against Barcelona.

''There is belief in La Liga that Richmond [Boakye-Yiadom] is a would-be great striker because he is quick, disciplined and a great goal scorer.

''My friend in the Emirates [Arsenal] told me that Rowley has been asked by the club to watch Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa and Elche striker Boakye-Yiadom on Saturday and Sunday respectively.’’

Boakye-Yiadom has scored three La Liga goals but the 20-year old is tipped to reach double numbers.

''I think he can score +10 goals in the league and may be one or two for Ghana in the World Cup. He is the reason why Elche will not be relegated this season,'' the agent added.

Boakye is expected to start for Elche as they attempt to shock Barcelona in the  La Liga.
