Real eye Neymar after major clear out

Real Madrid are plotting a move for Neymar to be the figurehead of a new era at the Bernabeu, with Corriere dello Sport reporting a major clear out is imminent.

Los Blancos will look to ditch Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema after growing stale this season, with Barcelona opening up a 19-point advantage in La Liga over the defending champions.

President Florentino Perez has reportedly resisted pressure from Ronaldo for a new deal this time, with the Portuguese international upset at earning less than Lionel Messi after his bumper extension at the Camp Nou. But with Ronaldo now 32 years of age and showing major signs of decline, it appears as if Real are set to push the reset button.

Inter approach Daniel Sturridge

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has received interest from Inter Milan, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The Telegraph also names Sevilla as an interested club, with Sturridge likely to push for a move to save his World Cup dream.

The Nerazzurri want a loan deal, though the Reds prefer a permanent move for the 28-year-old, who has been unable to command a starting role for Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool want £30 million for the England forward, though Inter are highly unlikely to meet that valuation.

Southampton and West Ham are also interested in Sturridge, though the lure of joining one of Europe's biggest clubs could appeal if Liverpool are willing to accept a loan deal.

United begin David De Gea talks to fend off Real

David De Gea has begun talks over a new contract, reports the Telegraph, as Manchester United bid to fend off Real Madrid interest once and for all.

The Spanish goalkeeper has been persistently linked with a return to the Spanish capital after starring for Atletico Madrid as a youngster.

The 27-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season, though the Red Devils have an option to extend that by 12 months.

With Alexis Sanchez likely to command near to £500,000 per week, De Gea could demand a sizeable increase on his current £200,000 per week wages to commit his future to Old Trafford.

Juve plot Robert Lewandowski signing

Juventus are looking at signing Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski, claims Tuttosport.

The Old Lady already have a similar striker in Gonzalo Higuain, but the Pole could play alongside the Argentinian to form one of the best partnerships in football.

Any move for Lewandowski would raise questions over the future of Paulo Dybala, who has experienced difficulties in his relationship with Massimiliano Allegri this term, sparking speculation of a move away.

Tap-ins

- Tottenham have begun talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Lucas Moura, reports L'Equipe.

The Brazilian has been linked with Manchester United after barely featuring for Unai Emery's side this season, but now Spurs have registered an interest.

- AC Milan are planning another assault on Torino to sign Andrea Belotti, claims Corriere dello Sport.

The Italy forward has scored just four times this season in Serie A, which could force the Granata to come down in negotiations from his €100m buyout clause.

- Leeds are close to signing Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Forshaw after agreeing a £4m fee, reports the Mail.

Thomas Christiansen has won the race to sign the 26-year-old ahead of fellow promotion candidates Cardiff.
