Ghana forward David Accam put up a spirited display for Helsingborg IF as he scored their equaliser and set up the match winner in their quarter-final victory over GAIS on Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old restored parity for the REDs five minutes after the break with a great finish to defray a Robert Warshaw 6th minute opening goal for the visitors at the Olympia.

The home fans were stunned early in the game when the visitors took the lead and Helsingborg struggled to pull even before the end of the first department.

But after the break, Accam registered his 5th goal of the competition with a fabulous finish, picking a pass from team-mate Alvaro Santos to race inside the box before darting a furious home.

Three minutes later, the forward turned the architect as he set up Brazilian Alvaro Santos to claim a crucial win and keep their title ambitions alive.

Compatriot Ema Boateng came off the bench in the last five minutes to play a cameo role for Helsingborg.
