Red Star Belgrade coach Robert Prosinecki has praised trialist Nathaniel Asamoah for his performance in the 2-1 loss to Montenegrin side Petrovic.

The Asante Kotoko striker has joined the former European Champions on a three week trial with the aim to seal a move.

Asamoah lasted the entire duration of the match but failed to find the back of the net.

Prosinecki believes Asamoah showed great signs of brilliance in attack.

"It could be seen from the game that he has great desire to be good," he said

"There is a lot of quality in him but we won't get into talking about that too much. Though he is not a fleet-footed attacker, he is very good."

Asamoah will play his second trial game for the club on Thursday.
