Kotoko drop into relegation zone after DC upholds Hearts protest

Kumasi Asante Kotoko drop into the relegation zone after the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association ruled in favour of arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak over a protest by the Accra based club on the usage of Obed Owusu in the week 25 fixture between the two.

The reds lost the points they picked from match day 25 against the Rainbow boys as well as losing 3 more points from their accumulated points rifting them off six points pushing them into the relegation zone.

The Porcupine Warriors who were third with 42 points on the 16-team table drop to 15th with 36 points with two matches to go.

The Oseikrom boys will be in a battle of their lives to pick all six points in their last two matches against Sekondi Hasaacas and Aduana Stars at the Essipong Stadium and the Baba Yara Sports Stadium respectively.
