Inter Allies held Heart of Lions

An impressive Inter Allies side frustrated Heart of Lions by holding them to a 2-2 drawn game at the Kpando Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Herbert Addo's men overcame an Edem Kodjo early minute strike to take a 2-1 lead with Senegalese Talla Ndiaye and Sheriff Mohammed giving them the lead.

But Hudu Yakubu netted from the spot 5 minutes from full-time to salvage a point for the Giant Killers.

Though Lions took the lead in the game, they could not march the unflinching determination of Allies who are facing relegation from the top-flight.

After falling behind, Allies kept their composure and worked their ways back into the game with the prolific Ndiaye netting to pecking the scoring before influencing the doubler as he set up Sheriff to register the lead for Allies.

The Tema-based side appeared in comfortable zone and were heading for victory when they committed a foul inside the box and Hudu Yakubu elected himself to slot home for the leveller and register his third goal of the season.
