Ghana defender Nuru Sulley turned down an opportunity to reunite with Hearts of Oak before finally signing for Turkish side Alanyaspor.

The former Ittihad of Tripoli defender joined the Turksih second division side on a free transfer after leaving Libya.

The 23 year old who featured impressively for the local Black Stars in the CHAN competition held in South Africa turned down an opportunity to rejoin Hearts of Oak a source close to the player has told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Nuru was approached by Hearts when he returned from Libya,” the source said

“But he really was not interested since there were better offers.

Sulley will now look to climb the ladder of success in Turkey.
