Several clubs in Asia and Europe are lining up big offers to sign Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan from Al Ain, the UAE side has revealed.

Some clubs are willing to pay about $300,000 per week to prise away the Ghana star attacker.

Chinese side Shanghai SIPG and Qatari club Lekhwiya are among the known clubs who have expressed interest in signing the top attacker.

However there is evidence that French giants PSG based by money from Qatar as well as clubs in Russia are keen on his signature.

Al Ain have now confirmed that they have received several offers to sign the Ghana star who has lighted up the Arabian Gulf League champions.

“Everybody talks about Gyan,” Mohammed bin Omair, an Al Ain board member, told The National.

“He’s a good player and he is our player. We do not lose him. But there are many offers coming to us, so we have to study these to see yes or no.

"All the clubs in the world are like this. And also Gyan himself has to study them to see what he needs.”

The forward, who in four seasons in the UAE has scored 95 goals in 83 league matches, is contracted to the club until 2018.

He signed an extension to his original deal 12 months ago.
