The communications director of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Sannie Darra says some players are struggling to attain the U.S visa which is delaying the release of the squad to play Canada.

The Black Stars are set to begin camping today as they prepare to take on Canada in an international friendly on the 13th of October.

The Ghana football association is however yet to release a list of players who have been invited for the game.

But communications director of the association Ibrahim Sannie Darra says the coach is facing difficulty in putting up the list due to injuries and visa acquisition.

“Yeah its true the list has delayed but we are facing some challenges with some of the players facing difficulty in attaining the U.S visa,” Darra told Accra based Citi-FM

“Just yesterday about three of the players went for their U.S visa's and where told to come back tomorrow so we will have to wait and see how it comes out.

“There has been injuries to some of the players at the last minute too which is also an issue we are looking at.

“So it will be out very soon but we just have to make sure that all these issue are sorted out.”
