Agent Oliver Arthur has claimed Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom is not obsessed with goals tally but rather his performance.

The Red Star Belgrade star is chasing his 30th goal in the calender year if he finds the back of the net against FC Koln on Thursday in the Europa League.

''He [Boakye] usually care about the goals he scores in particular matches but, obviously, like everyone else, he accepts that the overall tally is genuine calculator of long-term quality,'' Arthur said.

Regarded now as a genuine goalscorer with pace and consistency, Boakye is looking forward to scoring against FC Köln in the Europa League on Thursday, his 30th or +30th goal of 2017.

Should he not score this time around, he can still reach the height days later in Red Star's trip to Napredak in the Serbian topflight.

Despite the remarkable achievements of the Black Stars striker, Arthur insists, Boakye ''just sleeps and dreams of scoring goals to help his teams advance so to him history is only what somebody wrote down.''

''He wants to be one of the best strikers in the world and there's a plan in place for him to harness his huge potential to reach there.''

''Should he score away in Thursday's Europa League tie, I will be amongst the first to congratulate him because that will put him in a unique group of players anywhere in world football,'' Arthur stressed.

He further revealed that his company, ArthurLegacy Sports, will celebrate in its own way for the achievement would be unique for a player the company developed.

Remarkably, Boakye has been in so much form his staggering 2017 scoring record is reminiscent of the likes of Harry Kane (Tottenham), Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid).
