Elche striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom wants to be part of Ghana's World Cup plans by doubling his efforts in the Primera Division.Ã
The 20-year-old made a huge mark for the first half of the season after scoring four goals in all competitions on his debut season in La Liga.
Boakye, on loan from Juventus, believes he can chart in way back into the Ghana national team after punching above his weight in the second half.
ââ¬ÅI think it is the decision of every footballer to play at the World Cup. If you talk about the World Cup, the whole world is watching and when I was a child my dream was to play at the World Cup,â⬠Boakye told MTNFootball.com

ââ¬ÅAnd I want to do something that will be remembered in my country through World Cup. So I will do all that I can do to make sure I am doing a good job but when the decision comes it has to be the coach.
ââ¬ÅBy Godââ¬â¢s Grace if I get the opportunity and Iââ¬â¢m being called, mark it down; I will do something that people havenââ¬â¢t seen me do before because I know what God can use me to do.ââ¬
Boakye was part of Ghanaââ¬â¢s squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations but could not make his debut due to an ankle injury.
He played in Juneââ¬â¢s FIFA 2014 World Cup double-header against Lesotho and Sudan.
