Former AC Milan attacking midfielder Ronaldinho expressed his love for the club where he spent three years.
The 35-year-old enjoyed the leadership provided by Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani to him during his time at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
“I remember when I left Milan, I had the chance to join Flamengo who were the club I used to dream about and I couldn’t miss the chance to play in the Copa Libertadores, it all happened very quickly,” said Ronaldinho to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Milan was really special as a club and different from the others.
“Berlusconi and Galliani were both like fathers to me.
“I really miss Italy, I miss Milan but I also miss Paris and Barcelona.
“I went to Paris Saint-Germain when I was very young and they were a launching pad for me and I had the great joy of playing for some of Europe’s biggest teams.”
Ronaldinho made 76 Serie A appearances and scored 19 goals for the Rossoneri and he was part of the side which won the 2010-11 Scudetto.
