Rubin Kazan plan to loan out Mubarak Wakaso

Rubin Kazan coach Rinat Bilyaletdinov has revealed the club is looking to loan out Mubarak Wakaso in order for the Ghana midfielder to gain regular first team action.

Wakaso has struggled to break into the regular first team of the Russian club with the preference of Carlos Eduardo in the central midfield position.

The 25-year-old came close to securing a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad earlier this summer only for the deal to fall through due to a dispute between agents.

Rubin Kazan coach Rinat Bilyaletdinov admits there are plans to ship off the Ghana international at least on loan as he is unlikely to play regularly if he stays.

"Wakaso, probably will be able to go on loan,” he said.

“He needs to play, and we have other players in his position - players like Carlos Eduardo, and there are other options."

Wakaso joined Rubin Kazan in 2013 after an excellent stint in Spain with Espanyol.

He has since struggled for regular playing time in Russia and was loaned last season to Celtic.
