Sacked Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah claims Black Stars players disrespected President John Mahama by refusing to talk him at their technical meeting before playing Germany.

Afriyie Ankrah had wanted to talk to the team via Skype but they ignored which was as a result of the delay in the payment of appearance fees.

But the President finally spoke to the players in the dressing room ahead of their 2-2 draw in Fortaleza.

"We had arranged and we were going to put the President on Skype at the hotel. They had their last technical meeting and we went in there and they had just finished the meeting," he told Metro TV's Good Evening Ghana host Paul Adom Otchere.

"We were just about to connect and they started leaving and one particular player ....this is the President can you just spare us a few minutes, he said no no, dressing room, dressing room and then he added I hope he doesn't speak for one hour.

"We are talking about the President of the land, the commander in chief. Under no circumstance..."

Afriyie Ankrah has been re-assigned as Minister of State at the Presidency.

If they disrecpected the presidentand so what!!! U are simply at pains fro your removal and u speaking like a hurtful moron! Am that this moron is at pains and it ll continue till he totally fades out of the pic! Your presidential ambitions has been halted and if u care to know, U ARE NOW PUBLIC NO ONE ENEMY! U the same minister said that kpb was the ring leader and now u saying that, the players left one after the another when the president wanted to speak to them and this truly exposed u as nothing than A LOW LEVEL, LYING BASTARD! I have seen one thing about this minister and thats, he is very IMMATURE and upon all his arrogance and charllattan demeanor and manuerving, his remarks are INFANTILE and this is a guy who is harboring a presidential ambitions with our stolen monies? KWASIA BIRI CAN BECOME PRESIDENT IN GH BECAUSE OF KWASIA BI NTI VOTING in Ghana! Lying under oath is a criminal offense and this guy was sworn into office as a minister with a state oath and a bible and he is lying on national TV to Ghanaians? By their fruits, we ll know them and his infantile rhetorics has exposed him not only as a criminal thief but he is also a lying bastard and untrustworthy!! He has been reported by a distinguished FORBES MAG as one of the richest ghanaian alive and how did he became all wealthy and rich overnight if he has not been dipping his long thieving hands into our unlocked national coffins! He was a FORMER SALES MAN at mechanical LLOYD making pittances at his work and since he became a minister, he is all of a sudden a MILLIONAIRE! God is watching u everyday mister! He rode on the back of CHEAP, DIRTY POLITICS to become a minister at the expense of people dying( MELCOM)! U rode on a cheap propaganda thru the MELCOM DISASTER to be rewarded with a ministerial portfolio but upon all these, u have been exposed as nothing than incompetent BRAGGART! No matter how the ANTS GYMS, IT CANT NEVER BECOME AN ELEPHANT and in the same vain that, no matter where u move this dumb ass minister to, HE LL NEVER STOP HIS CRIMINAL THIEVING WAYS! Maybe this guy doesn't know and understand the implications of his incompetence aland shameful behaviour in Brazil! Or maybe, as usual some good for nothing FOOT SOLDIERS has gone to him to massaged his deflated ego with some stolen Ghana CEDI's and hence thinks the waters are calm! Ghanaians

Keep quiet fool. What is the big deal. How many times must they listen to Mahama.Players have match with tension, why not talk to them the day before.AA probably did not tell them ,Mahama was on the line. Here in the UK,there was a case last year Prime minister David Cameroun and Deputy Nick were shouted at to leave an intensive patient ward for not following ward procedure. Can that ever happen in Ghana? Afriyie Ankra tell Ghanaians the number of women you bedded.

Afriyie: as usual, the sports ministry and the FA that led the Ghana team to Brazil has been a laughing stock! You disrespected the president by n not preparing well before embarking for the tournament and now that you're exposed, "the players disrespected the president" wasn't the Vice President in Brazil before, during and after our game with U S A? And wasn't this problem of appearance fee was looming? Why couldn't you fellas organize for the Vice President to relay all the concerns to the president while he was in Brazil? It's about time you stop making yourselves look like some bunch of idiots. The world is now at a stage where people understand better than ministers of state and FA. Because it looks as if state ministers in Africa are special and they are not people but angels. All you fellas have to do is resign and stop " the players pull Down syndrome " attitude. Your guilt would haunt you till you resign. From you the sports minister to the entire FA and it's puppet in the person of AA. Can't you understand Ghanaians are tired of you? Enough of the stupidity

afriyie so it all boils down to the president eh? and your job in brazil was to what prevent any disrespect to the president? but your actions and your leadership skills has ensured that we have advertised ourselves to the world as not so examplary afterall. if you thought the players's actions were disrepectful to the president, but do not think that in the end the FA's actions has rather ended bringing the name of our country and president into real disrepute then i dont know how you can say you come from ghana the land kwame nkrumah, yaa asantewa, okomfo anokye and all. Did you speak to German Media? Norway Media and the like to promote your president? well the players have that higher profile to tell the world what the score really is. Honestly, when you failed together with all the FA bigman's to see to the welfare of the players, communicate well and do your leadership role properly you brought disrespect to your president and Ghana. So if i were you, i will keep well quiet.

If i were you i would have hidden myself from media redicule like vicoriah hammah did. You were moving up and down to Brazil wasting the poor tax payers money but failed to do the simple adminitrative things. The only thing you do better is choooboi! Choooboi!. Minister choooboi and ATOPA. The BS failed because of your incompetent and greed for money. I wonder the criteria used in making people like you a minister if not bcause you can steal from the nation to help finance your party. The curse you will receive extends to the generation that comes after you in your family do not forget.
