Defender Samuel Adade says Medeama fans have helped turn the Sekondi stadium into a ââ¬Ëslaughterhouseââ¬â¢ on their debut Africa campaign.
The Mauve and Yellows have won all three CAF Confederation Cup home games in impressive fashion- scoring seven goals in the process and conceding none.
They recorded a 2-0 win over Zesco United in the penultimate qualifying round on Sunday which followed their 3-0 win over Maghreb de Fes and a 2-0 success over Equitorial Guinea side Panthers FC.
And the right-back, who joined the side from King Faisal at the start of the season, has credited the Sekondi fans for their fine home performances.
ââ¬ÅThe credit should go to the fans. They have been amazing and weââ¬â¢ll hope to reward them with qualification,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅSekondi has been good home for us and itââ¬â¢s my prayer that we can scale the hurdle against Zesco this weekend.
ââ¬ÅThe venue has now become a slaughterhouse for visiting teams and weââ¬â¢ll hope to continue in tat regard.ââ¬
Medeama will travel to Zambia on Wednesday ahead of Sundayââ¬â¢s return tie against the Ya Ziko.
