Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is optimistic about the Black Stars chances of beating Sudan in Saturday's crucial 2012 Nations Cup qualifier.

The Black Stars must beat the North Africans or earn a draw to be sure of an automatic qualification to the finals in Gabon/Equatorial Guinea.

The FC Dnipro player is hopeful for a win despite missing three key players-AC Milan's Kevin-Prince Boateng, Andre Ayew and Evian defender Jonathan Mensah.

"This is a very crucial game for us. We want to do it for our motherland. This is an important game for us and we must qualify," Inkoom said.

Ghana are on 13 points tie with Sudan but top the group with superior goal aggregate.
