Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom paid for the successful surgery of Berekum Chelsea striker Eric Bekoe.

The Dnipro right-back played with Bekoe during their time at Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

Bekoe, 25, suffered a career-threatening broken leg while in Accra a fortnight ago.

The ex Petrojet star has just been told to sit home for six months after undergoing successful surgery at the Akomfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi.

The Berekum Chelsea striker is now seeking thanks for his former Kotoko teammate for footing the enormous bills of his successful operation.

“I want to reserve special thanks to God, my doctors and Samuel Inkoom who decided to foot the bills of my operation,” Bekoe revealed to Metro FM.

“I will ask Ghanaians to help me thank Inkoom for not all players are able to do such a thing.”

Bekoe was reportedly on his way to join an unnamed Finnish club before sustaining the horrendous injury.
