Samuel Mensah relishing tough test against Arsenal in Europa League Round of 32

Samuel Mensah is optimistic of  Ostersunds FK chances against English side Arsenal FC in the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 stage but acknowledged the battle that lies ahead.

Ostersunds, who have been impressive in their maiden European appearance advanced from Group J as runners up to Spanish side Athletic Bilbao, picking three wins, drawing two and losing just one to finish with eleven points.

On Monday, the Swedish Allsvenskan outfit were drawn against English Premier League giants Arsenal FC in the Round of 32 stage.

However, Mensah, who was instrumental during the side's qualification to the knockout round, is confident of pulling a shocker when they lock horns against the 13-time English champions though he reckoned the challenge they face in achieving the feat.

"It's a tough but good draw for Ostersunds. We are a small club and I believe playing against a big club like Arsenal will demand a lot from us because as you know, they play good football and have players who can change games at any time," Mensah told GHANASoccernet.com

"But, football has thought us that anything can happen on the field of play so we'll go into the game with the same confidence we showed during the group stages. We will give them respect but we won't fear them one bit, that I can assure you and we'll be ready to face them on that day."

Ostersunds FK will host Arsenal at the Jemkraft Arena on February 15, 2018, before travelling to the Emirates Stadium on April 1.
