Saudi champions Al Shabab agree deal to sign Prince Tagoe

Turkish side Bursaspor have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Saudi side Al Shabab over the transfer of Ghana striker Prince Tagoe.

Tagoe leaves Bursaspor less than a year into his three-year-contract with the club.

The Saudi champions have agreed to pay €1.2 million for their former striker who had a memorable stint with the club in 2006/07 season.

Tagoe, 25, has enjoyed a frustrating stint at the Bursa Atatürk Stadium since his move to the club last September.

He started just one game for Bursaspor and made two substitute appearances.

The lanky forward was also linked with a move to Serbian side Partizan Belgrade-who could not afford the €1.2 million price tag.

Tagoe is expected to begin pre-season with Shabab ahead of the new season.

He moved to German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim-his first European club-in 2009 but he failed to make an impact.
