Video: Savage attack on Muntari revealed

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari was at the end of a brutal attack that could have ruled him out of the World Cup, it has been revealed.

The savage attack occurred near the end of Inter Milan’s clash with Roma in the Italian Cup final.

Muntari jumped to avoid the career-ending tackle by Roma’s Brazilian defender Rodrigo Taddei but he suffered a little from the attack.

If Taddei has succeeded in his attempt the Ghanaian could have missed the World Cup which will be a blow for the injury-ravaged Black Stars.

It is not known whether the Italian Football Federation will study the video to punish Taddei as he got away with the crime.

This led to tension at the final whistle of the match which Inter won 1-0.

The incident immediately sparked a melee between players of sides nearly marring the beauty of Inter’s win.
