Have your say: Which players should be left out of Ghana's World Cup squad
Ghana playing against Montenegro

After a dreadful 1-0 defeat against Montenegro, one thing is clear: Not all the players touted by some fans should make Ghana's World Cup squad.

The Black Stars were very lucky with the tie because the Brave Warriors certainly put them in distress with speed and strength which gave coach Kwesi Appiah the needed stern test.

Appiah needed to give some fringe players the chance in the match against Montenegro because it was the only chance he had to see them before unveiling his final 23-man list.

It is true that the team was never going to have the same functionality that we had seen in previous games because several players who started the match had struggled to play in recent matches for the Black Stars.

The 4-4-2 system was challenging for some of them. Christian Atsu suffered in the first half because he was played on the right side of midfield when he is very effective on the left.

Jerry Akaminko looked assured at the back partnering John Boye while Daniel Opare's versatility was demonstrated in the match after he moved to the left-back from his favourite right-back position.

Inkoom looked very confident when he came on for David Addy, who looked jittery after giving away the penalty at the start but recovered to put in a decent shift.

Jordan Ayew also took his time to adjust, but after the coach took out and repositioned the Sochaux striker in the center of the attack he showed his true colors.

It was clear that the top top players like Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Andre Ayew, captain Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo AsamoahAbdul Majeed Waris, John Boye, Adam Kwarasey and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu cannot be ignored by coach Appiah.

Their presence and experience at the highest level brought some urgency in the Ghana team when some of them were given the chance to play in the match.

So which are the ones that should not have a ticket to Brazil? Let's hear from you in our COMMENTS BOX below:
