Kevin-Prince Boateng wants to silence Real Madrid tonight

Ghana star midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is expected to play a key part for Schalke when the Royals Blues clash with Real Madrid in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday night.

Boateng is expected to be key for the German side if they are to beat the Spanish giants as he has helped the Bundesliga club all season.

Mainz defied all odds to hold Schalke to a pulsating draw in a Bundesliga on Friday night with both sides failing to creating decent chances.

Boateng believes the Mainz draw has steeled them to face the Spanish football lords.

“Mainz were very mobile in the game and had a lot of position changes to win the game. The game has made us what we have to do better to compete against Real,” Boateng said.

Schalke host Madrid at the Veltins Arena on Wednesday with both Boateng and Anthony Annan expected to be in the Schalke team.
