Manchester United legend Paul Scholes can see Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford.
Scholes believes the Real Madrid star can still offer much to United should he re-sign later in his career.
He told Marca: "We see an Ibrahimovic who at 35 years, continues to triumph, so why not repatriate Cristiano Ronaldo?
"Perhaps Cristiano has already given the best of himself to Real Madrid, but for the club and the fans it would be something extraordinary (for him to return to United)."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped United to victory in the EFL Cup final yesterday against Southampton.
