Partick Thistle are in talks to bring former Dundee United midfielder Prince Buaben back to Scotland.
Alan Archibald has been looking to strengthen his squad in the transfer window with two more additions after Isaac Osbourne was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
And with the club currently joint 11th in the Scottish Premiership, they are talking to Buaben over a January move to Firhill.
The 25-year-old has spent the first half of this term with League One outfit Carlisle United.
After leaving Watford, Buaben made 16 appearances for The Cumbrians this term.
He enjoyed a four-season spell at Tannadice and helped the Terrors win the Scottish Cup at Hampden in 2010.
